About the Author

Meet Nicole - former tour guide turned solo travel blogger, writing honest, practical guides for introverted female travellers who want to explore the world on their own beautiful terms.

Hi, I’m Nicole.

I know exactly what it feels like to stand in an unfamiliar city, heart quietly racing, wondering if you’re brave enough for this.

I spent four years guiding people through Turkey’s sun-drenched streets – and the ones I remember most weren’t the loudest in the group. They were the quiet ones. The ones who hung back, watched everything, felt everything. The introverts. My people.
Simplitty exists for them. For you.

Nicole aka Miss Simplitty

I spent my early career leading groups through Antalya’s hidden lanes, teaching shy travelers to find their confidence. Now, I share those insider tips – paired with chic, budget-friendly style advice – for women exploring the world on their own terms.

From Tour Leader to Travel & Fashion Blogger

For four summers, Turkey was my whole world.

I led groups through Marmaris harbours at dawn, through Antalya’s ancient streets at golden hour, through bazaars where the air smelled of spices and leather and something indefinably old. I watched people arrive tense and leave transformed. And I quietly noticed something nobody talked about – the introverts always had the richest experience. They just needed someone to show them it was safe to wander.

When those years ended, I couldn’t let that knowledge quietly disappear. So Simplitty was born – part travel guide, part gentle permission slip for every woman who’s ever wondered, “can I really do this alone?”

The answer, my friend, is yes. And I’ll show you exactly how.

A Few Things You Might Not Know About Me

Miss Simplitty

Introvert at Heart

My ideal travel day involves a quiet café, a window seat, a book, and absolutely no obligation to make small talk. I’ve built Simplitty entirely around that kind of travel – and I’d never have it any other way.

History Buff

Give me ancient ruins over nightclubs every single time. I once spent three hours in Ephesus just standing still, trying to absorb the fact that people lived there two thousand years ago. That feeling never gets old.

Fashion Hobbyist

I believe you can look put-together on a budget without sacrificing comfort or practicality. Zara and Mango are my loyal companions – with the occasional Chanel daydream thrown in for good measure.

Perpetual Planner

My travel itineraries are works of art. Colour-coded, timed, with contingency options. Yes, I know. But it means I never miss anything – and neither will you.

Somewhere out there, a woman is sitting with a browser tab open, a half-packed bag on her bed, and a quiet voice whispering, “but what if I can’t do this alone?”
This page is for her. You are her. And I want you to know – from someone who has stood in unfamiliar cities, heart racing, guidebook clutched a little too tightly – that the world is so much kinder to solo female travellers than fear would have you believe.
Come wander with me. I’ll show you the way. 🌿
